Matica Z1 Desktop Card Issuance Embossing System

The Matica Z1 Card Issuance System is an ideal solution for card issuance in small/medium or decentralized environments. With its compact design and extremely quiet operation, the Z1 system is particularly suited for hospital and healthcare organizations.

This system is perfect for patient registration areas where space is limited and noise levels need to be kept low. The attractive design, small footprint and “silent” embossing mechanism allows the Matica Z1 to be placed on the counter without disturbing patients or employees. And the Z1 does not require additonal counter area to accommodate the input hopper or output tray - they are incorporated into the system and allow for easy access to load blank cards or remove personalized cards.

Data entry can be performed through the keyboard (supplied) or via a PC or host using the RS232 interface - making patient data downloading quick and easy. The Matica Z1, also, comes complete with MatiCard® Windows®-based card design and production software. This user-friendly software provides quick and easy card design capabilities, database access and production logging.

A second RS232 serial port is provided on the Z1 system to allow the addition of other peripheral devices such as a wristband or label printer.
